Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction

1.3 Our site is owned, operated and controlled by PALISADE SECURITY PTE. LTD. (“Palisade Security“, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are registered in Singapore under UEN 202519282E and have our registered address at 60 Paya Lebar Road #06-28, Singapore 40905.

2. Prohibited uses

2.1 You may not use our site:

  • In any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation.
  • In any way that is unlawful or fraudulent or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect.
  • For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).
  • To knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

2.2 You also agree not to:

  • Download (other than page caching) or modify this site, or any portion of it without our prior express written consent.
  • Collect and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices.
  • Make any derivative use of this site or its materials.
  • Download or copy account information for the benefit of another merchant.
  • Use data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, publish, display or otherwise exploit for any commercial purpose our site or its materials without our express written consent or in contravention of our Terms of Service.

2.4 Specifically, as the operator of a cybersecurity services firm, we expressly prohibit any user from performing any form of security testing on our site or its underlying infrastructure. This includes, but is not limited to, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, network reconnaissance, traffic analysis, or any action that could interfere with the security, integrity, or availability of our site. Our site is not a platform for testing your skills or tools.

3. Interactive Services & Content Standards

3.1 The primary interactive service on our site is our contact form, which allows you to request information or a quote for our services:

3.2 These content standards apply to any and all material which you contribute to our site through the contact form or any other means (“Contribution”).

3.3 You agree that a Contribution Must:

  • Be accurate (where it states facts);
  • Be genuinely held (where it states opinions); and
  • Comply with the law applicable in Singapore and in any country from which it is posted.

3.4 You agree that a Contribution must not:

  • Contain any material which is defamatory of any person;
  • Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
  • Contain sexually explicit material;
  • Promote violence;
  • Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
  • Infringe any intellectual property right of any other person;
  • Be likely to deceive any person;
  • Be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
  • Promote any illegal activity;
  • Be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or harass any other person as defined under the Protection from Harassment Act 2014;
  • Be used to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person; or
  • Advocate, promote or assist any unlawful act such as copyright infringement or computer misuse.

4. Suspension and termination

4.1 We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this Acceptable Use Policy through your access or use of our site. When a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.

4.2 Failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a material breach of our Terms of Service upon which you are permitted to use our site, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

  • Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to access or use our site;
  • Removing of any material or comment uploaded by you to our site;
  • Issuing a warning to you;
  • Commencing legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach;
  • Taking further legal action against you; and/or
  • Disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as required by law.

4.3 We exclude our liability for all action we may take in response to breaches of this Acceptable Use Policy. The actions we may take are not limited to those described above, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

5.1 We may revise this Acceptable Use Policy at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we make, as they are legally binding on you.
